Lynne McTaggart (born 1951) is a journalist and author, most famous for her popular books 'The Field' and 'The Intention Experiment'.

McTaggart and her publisher/husband Bryan Hubbard are directors of a public company called "What Doctors Don't Tell You Ltd.", which publishes newsletters that critique mainstream medicine.

As well as continuing to write about alternative medicine and editing the "What Doctors Don't Tell You" publications, McTaggart has also developed a program called "Living The Field", based on an understanding of the zero point field as applied in quantum mechanics.

McTaggart's program is not accepted by mainstream medicine and not supported by scientific evidence, although references to mainstream scientific concepts are made. Despite references to quantum mechanics, McTaggart is not a physicist and her ideas are not supported by mainstream physicists.

She is head of the Intention Experiment, a large scale web-based investigation to discover whether intentions can affect the physical world. She also appears in the extended version of the movie 'What the Bleep Do We Know!?'.

Lynne and her husband Bryan live and work in Wimbledon, England, with their two daughters.

Call it the 'music of the spheres'; call it The Voice Within...but it told me to stop ranting, and preaching and screaming...and to simply start...Listening.

Why is it that everything you say...I happen to agree with?! Being the multidimensional Being that I AM...is it because I recognize the Me-ness in You...and the You-ness in Me? I'd like to offer something at this point:

If it seems that I'm rife with contradictions...then I'd like to quote (and expand upon), some famous words from yet another 'expression' of That I AM:

I agree, in the end (and at the beginning) - It's all a matter of Choice. I guess our reason for Being is our ability to offer another Choice...another way of Being. Just by Being...We are indeed infusing the collective with a higher-vibrating energy (in 'higher', I'm not implying better either). By resonating LIGHTly, we are washing our potatoes in the stream. Whether or not other tuning forks wish to attune to that new vibration...is totally up to them. And each decision/choice is valid, and Divine, and respected, and honoured.

Yes, be the Lighthouse; house the Light; shine the Light; enLighten the house. Came across a great quote just today : "There are two ways of spreading Light...To be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." ~ Edith Wharton. Others will either respond to your Light - inspiring them to shine themselves, which will also be a reflection of You (quite the lovely paradox...), or they'll respond to your Light - by turning away (perhaps the Light that You represent within them/reflect...is just too much for them to handle at that moment).

I agree too with your friend. Many years ago, all I wanted to do was go around shouting from the rooftops for everyone to Wake Up! Everywhere I looked, everyone seemed to be sleep-walking, sleep-talking, sleep-living (the first time I began truly looking at my own state of consciousness...?). I soon realized however that you cannot force open the petals of a rose - it has to bloom in its own time. And each & every person on the planet was merely living out their YOUnique choices. It seems, from the small glimpse of the Infinite that I'd so graciously received...I wanted to share this with my human brothers & sisters - telling anyone & everyone I could find about it All (though it has since dawned on me that not everyone's idea of the Divine is the same, but different & YOUnique...just like no two roses in a garden are ever identical). Being into psychology, it also hit me at the time, that the only one I was yelling at...was my SELF. I'd had a small taste of Lucidity...and I found myself screaming out for more! I wasn't telling anyone but my Self to Wake Up (out of The Dream). This was a humbling realization. All I could do was just BE. I didn't need saving per se...I just needed to BE. Saving from what? I understood that I was Infinity having a finite experience; that I was Spirit having a human experience; that I was I AM : The ONE Being many.

Yes indeed, in thought, and in word...All was ALREADY perfect just as it was. Just as All is perfect just as it is. And then I breathed the greatest sigh the YOUniverse has ever known. How could I possibly need saving when I was already safe? How could I be broken when I was already Whole? How could I be seeking answers when I AM is always the Answer? As long as I continue to regard my human family with compassion, understanding & Unconditional Love : a by-product of the realization that I AM ONE with All, then I AM fulfilling my 'mission', my reason for Being. Perfectly.

Every now and then, I'll put something 'out there' (making tangible & solid - an inner thought : for As Within, So Without)...and if anyone responds, then cool. If not, then cool. It is not my inclination to judge either as I realize that criticizing others is a red flag indicating to me what I fail to own within my Self (actually - a very helpful device...if I'm consciously aware at all times!). I understand too that "Judgment will keep me forever lost in separation." ~ (Leonard Jacobson). So in 'light' of that...why would I continue to consciously choose that limiting experience for myself when I can instead, be swimming in the luxurious waters of ONEness...?

I happen to agree with everything you've said. I must say too, that it was Kryon (as well as a few other channelled entities such as Bashar, Seth, etc.) that first introduced me to Quantum Physics (as well as my own meditations on metaphysics...). Then I went out and tracked down various books on Quantum Physics to get the scientific viewpoint. I found out then that metaphysics & quantum physics were indeed, truly connected & inter-related. Mysticism & Science were merely two sides of the same coin for me.

As We Are All ONE...(and this is just a thought I AM putting out there)...perhaps our 'sleeping' aspects are using their 'Awakened Selves' (us?) to consciously & lucidly play with The Light in a way that they are not yet aware of...(?) "Be the Change You wish to see in the World." Maybe by transforming ourselves (which then goes on to transforming the world : As Within, So Without), we are raising the vibration of the whole planet - Critical Mass thus achieved. Through morphic resonance, the hundredth monkey (read : Human) is then definitely influencing the rest of the collective. It may seem that the 'free will' of others is being influenced, but as there are no 'accidents' in the YOUniverse...maybe it's their will to change things (have Shift Happen) through Us...? Could the sleeping be 'using' the Awakened to effect Change?

The Hundredth ONE...

As 'you' grow, so too does it propel my own growth forward, thus evolving the Global Mind/Spirit, and so on & so forth ad infinitum...

For as one 'cell' sings a new frequency with much gusto & love, so too does it inspire a new tune within the whole body of like cells (quite like a tuning fork influencing all tuning forks around it). Critical Mass is thus achieved and soon the whole being is singing a new song.

On the face of it, each religion & spiritual belief may seem 'fragmented' but behind each religious 'mask' lies the same One Mind, the same One Heart, the same One Soul. As long as we're all looking at each others' 'faces' rather than sensing the Oneness we all share within...this perceived reality of separation and pain will continue to perpetuate & be lived out.

Different paths...Same mountain.

Hmmm - Reminds me an awful lot of the Hundredth Monkey Syndrome...

"The 100th Monkey - A True Story..."

The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years. In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant. An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too.

This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists. Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.

Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known. Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes. Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.

THEN IT HAPPENED!

By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!

But notice: A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea...Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes. Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.

Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people.

But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!

I could feel each case of love being chosen over fear. And vice versa, I could project my bliss & unconditional love out & into the global Heart/Earth from my own heart... It was a profoundly beautiful & powerful moment, with the book itself acting as a kind of 'key' to this particular door of realization...to this infinite mansion of unlimited potential & possibility. I thoroughly recommend this little book...a little book with a BIG heart. And a whole lotta Soul.

Lynne McTaggart is a ONEderfully exciting writer and I've got & read all her books. Thank You Nicole & Another Me for your replies! They're great clips aren't they? I in-Joyed watching them immensely!

*Nicole - McTaggart's ideas/programs are very exciting, and the timing is sooooo right for the world to be made aware of them right now. We do indeed, live in amazing times! Her next intention experiment takes place on December 5th...and I will be taking part. The more the merrier...and the more powerful!

There's an Australian author (whom I've known and have been in contact with for years) who has a new book coming out soon that is inspired by McTaggart's work.
