JOY PANDEMIC CENTER

~~~
Filipino 'Dancing Inmates' from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) - a maximum security prison in the Philippines - were treated to a visit by Michael Jackson's long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid to learn dance performances from "THIS IS IT".
Watching this powerfully brilliant clip, I found it both moving & beautifully inspiring. What a dynamic & impressive display of focus & talent.
Bravo!
It honestly sent shivers down my spine.
Blessed Be,
Another PEACE of You : OM...
Thanks, Omni, for such detailed and pictorial explanation! :)
This video is energetic and full of joy indeed. I must say that “it honestly sent shivers down my spine”!!!
I can see the similarity to Nicole’s clip: “Swan Lake” :). Maybe I have a great imagination but I find in the video dynamic, synchronic dance of black swans ;), that need liberation like Tchaikovsky’s white swans (beautiful girls, imprisoned in a bird body) .
And saying seriously – it is a fine way of rehabilitation of prisoners! Fantastic dancers, fantastic idea!!!
Halo nicole & Netfino,
nicole - Of course I don't mind dear ONE. Share, share, share I say! Thank You for all the smiles too - Love 'em!
And Netfino - How are You? I hope you had a ONEderful Xmas & New Year's! So lovely to hear from you my sweet friend! Ha ha - 'some chills' or 'shivers down my spine' is that tingling sensation you get all over your body when your little hairs stand up on your skin, your heart races, you feel all warm & fuzzy inside, and you feel as if you're being hugged by a big invisible Angel! That's what it means... I guess you'll see for yourself once you watch the clip later...
Blessed Be my beYOUtiful Friends!
Love,
OM...
I'm in office now, so I'm not able to see the video (internet is filtrated).
As I can hear, it must be a very, very interesting stuff!!! What it means: "some chills"? My dictionary says strange things :)
I'll watch the clip later, at home.
Halo nicole,
I'm so glad you in-Joyed this clip! I found it so moving & inspiring that I just had to post it up everywhere & send it to everybody (ha ha!). I'm sure what made it so touching for me was knowing that those guys all came together for a common cause - to dance! Regardless of what they may have done in their past...all that mattered was The Now...and what talents & abilities they had NOW. I'm sure it gave them hope and confidence in their own lives too. My eyes well up just thinking about how generous that choreographer & his dancers were in teaching them all those amazing dance moves. What an inspiration for ALL of humanity! Utterly gorgeous stuff! And that PEACE sign at the end was just so beautiful!
This clip has really been my day's (dancing) cherry on top.
Go the Filipinos! We sure know how to dance (he he)!!!
Blessed Be,
Another Point of You : OM...
