Atlantis of my Meditations

I was instantly there as I closed my eyes. Atlantis was not as I imagined it would be.   I could see some snow covered mountains in the distance and not too many buildings, lots of green trees and growth, it was summer weather.  I was far inland, did not see the ocean although I knew it was close.  I appeared in front of some buildings in a city of some sort, it was very quiet.  There were not many people out and about.

The buildings I saw were of a light granite colour, clean looking.  Tidy places, no litter. These  buildings were of a smooth creamy-white, and the roads were wide with lots of space.   I didn't see any vehicles.  I saw a few round healing places that looked like small round temples, also in this creamy granite.   This is where people went to heal, without appointments.  I saw that there was a nice, dark haired woman behind a round stone reception desk in one healing center, who greeted those who came in the entryway, and there were no doors, only rounded entryways.  The people who came for a healing were accepted as soon as they walked into the building/temple, and there were not many people who were ill.  She would take people to rooms beyond where I could see, inside the building.

There was  attention given to healing with colour.  Coloured lights, crystals.  That's all that was needed!

I went on further along one road, and  saw a kind of ampitheatre where down near the bottom steps sat some older women in colourful clothing, mostly greens.  They had their hands in their laps, sitting quietly,  and were waiting for something.  I don't know what.  I seemed to zoom into one woman in green, her whole aura was green too.  She had the whitest hair, so clean, she was an older lady.  She seemed very serene, but worried at the same time if that can be possible.  I felt she was worried about the future of Atlantis.

Then I went into a regular time meditation.  The experience was only a few minutes.

Wow, Netfino!  How close is your description of Epidaurus, and the Atlantis of my meditation!  It doesn't surprise me, as I believe the Greek and their way of life back then were  closely modeled after the Atlantians.

The ampitheatre  in my meditation was smaller, and closer in, with the walls a bit more steep.  The moon was able to light it up in the nighttime.

Nicole, I felt worried when I came back, because of the woman.  And yes, I wondered if I was that woman!  That was a significant feeling.

Thank you, I agree, it is good to reunite ourselves while in the meditative state!  This is the best way, so we can be detached.

Coloured lights, healing with colour - interesting cure method!
What was the further history of Atlantis, is the island sleeping in the Poseidon Realm???
Maybe you tell about it later...

Your beautiful tale reminds me a little of Greek ancient city, Epidaurus, where was a healing center - god Asclepius sanctuary.
Ill people from Hellada arrived there in the hope of cure.
They spent a night in a special sleeping room and dreamt...
During their sleeping people got an advice what to do to be healthy.
Simply fantastic!!!
And there was an amazing amphitheatre in Epidaurus, like that one in your story.
Amazing -  because of its stunning acoustics. Scientists look for an explanation of his wonderous phenomenon!
I was there - it was an uncanny experience.

Sometimes when I am falling asleep, I dream of that mysterious place.
I can see all the people gathered in the theatre, can hear their excited, joyful voices, can see actors performing in the middle of it.
From time to time  the audience falls silent and then I can listen to  cicades music.
And finally I can see a background of the wonderful mistical ancient spectacle, a gorgeous scenery, composed of Bougainvillea flowers  and marvellous sunset in Greek cloudless sky...

Thank you for this sharing Tammy ! That sounds like a great experience ! You saw healing temples and focussed on one woman in the theatre. How did you feel when you came back ? Was this woman 'you' maybe in this precise time/space ? As we are in the process of re-uniting all our selves in this lifetime, it's good to have them in a meditation state. I'm sure you can go back there as much as you wish, by just focussing on the experience again.
